Listing must be purchased with a "black plastic" buckle collar. This is an add-on listing to upgrade a buckle collar in your cart, into a breakaway dog collar.

This add-on breakaway buckle is great to use while your dog is home alone or at a dog park, doggy day-care. A breakaway dog collar allows you to never worry about your dog getting caught on something, as the buckle will release when pressure is applied.

This collar is made so the collar buckle will release/breakaway with pressure - it's a safety collar to prevent strangulation, in certain environments. If you need to leash your dog with this collar it has 2 D rings to be able to do this. NOTE: LEASHES SHOULD ONLY BE USED WITH A BREAKAWAY COLLAR IN AN EMERGENCY.

♥♥♥ While the collar can be used with a leash, they are not intended to be used on walks. These collars are for safety, in the event while unsupervised, they get caught on something the collar will easily come off.

♥♥♥ Note that these collars come off when pressure is applied to them. They are meant to fit a little looser than a traditional collar. If you have this collar on too tight it can come off with normal movement from your dog.

♥♥♥ You will purchase this listing along with the collar of your choosing. The collar sent to you will have only the breakaway buckle and D rings as pictured. Breakaway collars DO NOT come with a standard buckle.
