NON-breakaway buckles DO NOT pop open with pressure. They are intended to stay closed unless the owner wishes to manually release it like any normal side-release closure. Please do NOT order a breakaway collar if you plan to walk your pet on a leash with the same collar — get the non-breakaway option if this is the case.
